Going to make this plain and simple, just wondering what the TFF thinks..

As a new LTC holder, I'm just curious what folks on here think about open carrying a handgun in public. I'll be doing IWB concealed as soon as my new holster is ready tommorow, but I'm just curious what others think of open carry and if it's something you do/would do on occasion?

I 110% agree! 50 states consitutional carry. However, I got the LTC just to be legal. That's part of being a law abiding citizen cheers

I open carry when I’m in Wyoming. I’m in Dallas 90% of my time though, and I appendix carry a Glock 43X everywhere I legally can. Always one in the chamber.

I'm fine with open carry.

I think the smart move is concealed.

Man I was chasing my tail trying to find a 43x for quite some time! Finally gave up and opted for the Glock 48. Literally the same exact frame as your 43x with a 3/4” longer slide. Slimed down Glock 19 basically.

And yes, one in the chamber always.

No metal detector = legal everywhere. Same pistol and I use the stealth gear holster....and 1 in the chamber because I'm ok with it and feel safe doing so.

I think every single gun in this country should be confiscated and melted down to make Tony Awards.

I don't open carry. No good reason in the city. It's actually to your determent tatcially.

There are places where it'd make sense or be more acceptable.

In Northern Nevada you got side eye if you weren't wearing a gun...but that is a hella rural area and extremely sparcley populated. You'd drive 300 miles and not see a town and just a few cars. Good trout fishing though.

extremely rare that I open carry, either a glock 42 or a ruger lcp, lcp is for summer and just a t shirt will cover it nicely.

sometimes the glock 23 but not all the often any more, I carry it almost daily here at the ranch and it can get heavy at times.

I am fine with about any of the above. I carry a lcp in front pocket most of the time. I only carry my kimber 45 ultra carry when I am down south around places I may need more power.
