open carry reminds the bad guys: I have it and I know how to use it.

Concealed, they have to do threat assessment - - few are trained to do that.

Yes, I carry .. . . . .

I conceal on a daily basis. Shizz is getting bad and I'm not going down without a fight.

since you are new to carrying (I assume), after triple checking the weapon is unloaded you should practice drawing. not playing bad bart of the ot but getting comfortable with where it is and how it draws.

I carry mine on my left hip/forward and cross draw. best of all worlds for me, find what is comfortable for you and practice. muscle memory is good.

Thinking from a bad guys perspective, open carry just points out who to shoot first.

I just don't buy that, bad guys are not that smart, and very impulsive. They would be so full of tunnel vision on what they are trying to accomplish they probably wouldn't notice th open carry in most situations.

This is my motto, the no carry signs are suggestions.

I very rarely open carry. In the city you’ll get uncomfortable looks from people.

If you go to a rodeo or a bbq, then feel free to wear your cowboy wheel gun in a leather holster. Other than that, keep it concealed.

Do not do this in public....you look like a moron and you are are target if something goes wrong wherever you are...first person shot if bad guy scoped at all.....get a real holster and a real belt....and keep it covered. Period. Deer camp, farm, all good....around people? No!

Live in an open carry State. Some of the cities have limits or bans on open carry. Either people in these parts don't open carry or it's just not that obvious to me. I open carry when I'm bank fishing. Mostly for any mountain lions or other critters that get too curious.

May you be treated the way you treat other people, today and everyday!
