Honestly, the older I get, the cheaper those delivery fees seem to be.

Never ask to borrow something that drives, flies, floats, or **cks.

If you are offered, that's fine, but never ask.

Unless I’m over the limit or injured. No way my keys go to anyone else.

If someone needs something moved I let them know my availability and I might be able to drive them. Like Bob I got a tonneau cover and the requests all but stopped.

I went to Italy and saw 1 truck an old Nissan, There were thousands of mopeds. Gas was 9.00 a gallon if you converted liters to gallons and euro's to dollars.

I’m still running thru various scenarios on that last one, but the others seem very reasonable.

If you loaned the truck you are the enabler, only people that use my truck is direct family, boat and such does not happen, buy your own stuff

call it what you will...he is not definitely not anywhere near the top of the list for QB's that I would choose needing a FG or touchdown drive late in the game.

No, you are not wrong. It just depends on who wanted to borrow it. I’m quite particular with my stuff, almost anal. If they can’t treat it like I would, it’s a big fat heck no. Now, if it was a one time acquaintance that would make the Hump Day threads, then we could possibly negotiate something.

You may have heard a saying in reference to buying vs. leasing depreciating assets; I have adapted that to my philosophy on borrowing stuff. There is some alliteration involved.
