Thanks Curtis for the reply. The ponds are not spring fed. The ponds are located in low areas of the ranch and get plenty of runoff water during a heavy rain. Usually a inch of rain charges them up. Two inches of rain fills them up.

Great post Chuck. Love seeing those young ladies having a great time. What could be better than catching some big Channel Cat's and enjoy being in the outdoors. Your friend has a piece of heaven.
Side Note: Does your friend feed the fish? If so how often?
