Seems like a lot of food is over priced lately. Can't hardly go out for lunch and eat for under $20. But I'll suck it up so long as the place is locally owned.

Ammo is stupid too, but I'll still smile as I mag dump an AR on some pigs.

What channels are you trying to watch Emit? "Streaming" is not complicated. If you can post a picture on TFF you have the skills it takes to stream tv.

The savings can be big! Keeping in mind you will still need a high speed internet connection, factoring that in even its still usually a better deal to go with one or two of the streaming services and an antenna for local tv.

I dumped cable over 3 years ago now and do not miss it at all. Have saved a lot of money and still have way more content than I can deal with... but I dont watch a ton of TV.

I'd have to have a pretty tall antenna for locals. Live in a valley between mountain ranges and the closest local station is over 90 miles away. We mostly watch local stations for the network shows sports, and some movie channels, and a lot via DVR. I know it would be a ton cheaper, and have high speed fiber, but older (non-smart) TVs so would have to get the firesticks or some other device to get the signals from the wireless router to the TVs, if the signal would reach. 3600 sq foot single story home. TVs on both ends of the house, router centrally located, but signal is weak to the laptop when I get too far away because of the thick walls. I think most of the struggle will be the wife learning a new remote and the way to watch.

Oh, and posting pics to tff, I could do it, but my wife would struggle. Bought her a computer a few years back, she got frustrated just trying to read email and open files and the internet and quit using it.

I bought a lifted diesel 4x4 F-250 at the auction once. Got it back only to find out it was a 6.2L Gas engine, and a 2x4 with a lift kit. Ooopps

I understand. There is cost up front with this option but... TV's are stupid cheap now and they pretty much all are "Smart" tvs. That is really the way to go. I have a firestick on one of mine and it works fine, but the newer ones that are "Smart" already are much easier.

The remotes are super simple too and you can run everything with just the one remote if you go that route. You would need at least two with a firestick.

You tube has tons of good info to overcome each of your concerns... the wifi etc.

No but one of our buyers bought a Mondial one time because it seemed like a good deal for a Ferrari. That's like comparing a Ford Ranger to a F-450 King Ranch LOL
