It was great

Fished it yesterday for the first time in many many years. Caught a 7, 6, and a couple 2-1/‘s, and a BUNCH of small fish. Every fish was a largemouth. Started out today where the 7 came from yesterday and we caught several small mouths, a few big spots, and a few small largemouth. Went to fish similar stuff and culled one spot and one smallmouth. Ended up with the perfect bag. An over largemouth, two under largemouth, one spot and one smallmouth. Unfortunately, my idea of perfect was good for 8th. I think.

Every fish caught, but one, was caught on a wacky rigged Senko in inches of water. I caught a bass on the first cast yesterday, using a red craw prerapala wiggle wart. I didn’t know I was throwing it into rocks with only a couple inches of water over the top. Thankfully, the bass hit it instantly, which clued me to NOT keep throwing the wart, start chunking a Senko, and hug the bank as shallow as I could.

There were three bags over 20...I think. Then it went downhill quickly from there.
