Congrats on the fish, AWESOME bass! 🤣🤣🤣🤣 It's true though! These guys get so azz hurt when someone hangs up on a fish that they could only dream of catching, so they resort to finding everything they possibly can wrong about the picture. Suprisied I haven't seen that on this thread! Like I'm amazed no one is throwing a fit that the kid isn't wearing a life jacket or questioning if he even has a fishing license or some dumb chit like that That is one helluva of a fish, that kid will NEVER forget that moment.

I've fished Travis for over 30 years. Over the years my biggest on Travis is 9 and 1/2 lbs. Catching a bass over 15 lbs on Travis and a record is almost like hitting the lotto. The kid deserves all the credit since he saw the fish on a bed. Not to mention, Travis is a crystal clear lake. I highly suspect he had to cast a number of times, be patient and get the fish to finally bite. You can't take that away from him and he probably earned it. Or maybe he was at the right place and right time. Either way, that is a big fish and hope he sticks with fishing in the years to come.

Not sure what part of the lake, but the water temps were probably low to mid 50's.....
