They are building these smallish portable buildings and homes up the road from me in Woodville. Even have a 2-story model.

We have a Park Model at Lake Fork that me and my wife stay at 3-4 months out of the year a week or two at a time. We also have 2 Schnauzers, it does get a little cozy at times but I don't go there to sit inside. I wouldn't want it as a Primary residence being married but if I was living there by myself I would be plenty comfortable. It is 400 sq.ft. and the central heat and air keeps Momma happy.

In six months, I would best most of them have a shed built that is larger than their home.

You totally missed the intent of the thread.

That reminds me of years ago when I was talking to a friend of mine whose wife loved to hunt and fish. I told him he was a lucky man because my wife hated the outdoors and would never dream of going anywhere with me. He looked at me and said "Lucky? Do you know what it's like to never have a moment to yourself? Everything I grab by tackle she is right there ready to go: I think I need a divorce!"

Well, 47 years later I am still married so I guess things turned our ok

I’ve never understood the tiny house concept. Why spend all that money when you can just buy a travel trailer and have the same thing?

I've spent most of the last 30 plus years in an 8x8 office without windows...... Tiny living or hard time wouldn't be a step for this stepper.

That'd probably happen quite often if there was room enough to squeeze the toaster in there.

I could live in one of those little houses. So could my wife. I could live in one with her, as well.

She could/would *NEVER* live in one with me. I'd be the problem component in that plan - I can fully realize that.

The first travel trailer we bought I could literally sit on the toilet and still reach the refrigerator at same time. It was like a digestive system circle of life.
