We just had one that lasted about 40 min. South of Big Spring. Half suited up to go freeze [censored] off at 6 deg to switch all the carp and pull start the generator. Very happy happy happy now not to need to wade through the snow drifts to do all that now! Life is good again. banana plus we now know that the pressure tank will last at least that long to keep our mini streams running out the faucets with the well pump not running. Another win.

Spoke too soon! Lasted about 15 minutes and off again. Furnace didn’t even cycle off. Oh well. I left half my gear on so there’s that. Gonna take a 45 min nap.

Don't know if Lewisville has rolling blackouts or just a blown transformer. Either way I had to get the fireplace going.

Warm enough, and have plenty of firewood. Turns out that cardboard boxes burn nicely too.

Just watched the news, they said we will be having rolling blackouts and should last 15-30 min off and on. If it’s over 45 min contact your electric company
