Are they as good as black bass fried up? I've never caught one.

Congratulations. Nice Smallies. I caught Smallmouth for the first time this year too. It was in April, but I had to go to East Tennessee to catch mine. I want to try Belton soon.

Are they as good as black bass fried up? I've never caught one. The flesh is firmer than that of a black bass and it has a stronger fishy taste but still very delicious. I would rather eat crappie
