15 degrees for me on Fairfield back in the 90's. That's when I discovered braid was not a good idea at that kind of temp.

Fished Monticello a lot in early 80s at night in January and February. I think the lowest temp was around 10 degrees. Many times in the 20s. Not so much anymore.
Retirement best job ever.

I’ve fished a lot with lows in 20s and highs in 30s. Not so much these days. Monday with the way the pressure looks will be a slug fest if someone is brave enough to go

Upper 20s on Houston County. I slept in my blazer the night before at the dam and woke up and everything was white. I fished for a but but didn't have any luck. I had a little propane burner and made the best bacon and eggs I've ever had in the middle of the lake. After breakfast I started crushing them on lizards in the timber.

Fished the first Bud Light Platinum on Rayburn in 20 degree freezing sleet. Nothing to it and the 45 min run Yates took us on from launch was a breeze...

Several times! We were ate up with it! Hydrilla was thick and the fog thicker! I would guess we fished it in the lower 20's in the daytime on multiple trips. And camped. In a stinkin tent! Overnight temps were probably in the mid teens. I ain't that mad at em anymore!!

I fished PK one time when the high for the day was 17. I had a 5 gallon bucket half full of dirt and charcoal going to keep my feet from freezing .I caught a lot of fish on jigging spoons that day but melted the souls of my shoes ,I have not been that foolish again.LOL

In northwest Arkansas we had the Bass A Thon which was held November, December, January, February, It was held no matter what, period. Temps from the low single digits, snow, sleet, ice, winds 30 mph plus, etc. Did not matter. My favorite morning was headed up lake at 60 mph in my Champ and when I hit the ice the boat slid up on it, then broke through. One of my best spots the cove froze over so we went in and ran around, broke up the ice, and came back and fished it later. Good times. And one other story. It never got above 25 degrees all day and the partner I drew said why is there water on the floor! The plug had popped out but the boat had a flat transom so he drove, trimmed it way out and I laid on the back deck and put in the spare. I was a little younger and dumber in those days.

Coldest air temp was definitely a January night trip on Monti about 10 years ago. Temp was 34 when we launched at 5:30 and dropped into the mid 20's by the time we left at midnight or so. Caught them on top waters under the light of a full moon and clear skies. Will never forget that night.
Coldest feeling BY FAR was Champ on Ray Roberts 3 years ago in April. Launched boat on the delayed start at 8:00, it was probably 35 but we had a 40, yes 40 mph North wind. Temps dropped the entire day and sleet started around lunch time. Still can't believe we fished it and I almost got hypothermia when I got a little wet when we made the run in 3 footers from state park to Sand branch

Fished in a snow storm in March, late 90’s. Coldest tournament at launch time was 18 degrees, Martin Creek in the 80’s. I was MUCH tougher back in the day! Staying home this weekend.

The snow and the sleet that covered the front deck made it a little tricky as it got very slippery!

I am planning on fishing sunday if the roads are not dangerous. When we have a long stretch of cold WX I have found a really good pattern with Marinas & a jigging spoon. Has worked on two lakes years ago, but have not tried it on Grapevine. Will see, With the right col weather gear it's not bad. It's funny when the eyes of your rod freeze up.. Coldest is -31 in the morning and warmed up close to zero. (Lake Platoro Colorado ice fishing) Ice on the eyelashes.. And second was close to that on 15 mile reservoir. Batteries in camera really struggled. Im sitting on the lake with some strong wind. Co-idiot fishing with me was Matt C.

My joints hate extreme cold weather so I rarely go out. But 2 times it rewarded me (I was much younger), both DD's. On Fork 27 degrees and sleeting and on Joe Pool 25 with with heavy winds. Thank the Lord for the very back of Lynn Creek! Both fish were the only bite of the day.
Big ones do seem to bite when is super cold, fished an ABA on Cedar creek 2015? Most boaters were getting zero to 3 bites a day, co-anglers less than that, if I remember right though there was a 9 and a 10 brought in that day, I think the guys that won had 2 keepers. Both big ones were caught shallow also.
