I seem to have ruffled some feathers, lol. Trolling does work! Love the personal insults, too. Keep up the good work.
p.s. where's my rod, mr ping?

How much did you pay for your All-Star titanium, cruzion? Did the price match your ego? And by the way, seeing as you've never met me, I don't understand how you can speak of my ego...unless (like I said earlier) you have no idea about what you speak.

Yes he is an obvious troll...They exist on every forum I visit...Small people with heavy fingers hiding behind key boards...They always reference the personal attacks they receive that are only brought on by their personal attacks to the forum in general...They bask in pissing contests...
As for the rod Mr. Troll, I'll just keep it myself and bask in the glory of additional Loomis ownership!!!!...It will go nicely with my new Shimano MG50...

I've met you and can vouch for your ego... If you're really nice and buy all the beer when you come, I might provide you with the sacred opportunity of holding my Curado100/784CIMX combo and experiencing what the Excalibur of fishing setups actually feels like....however, because you don't actually own it, your ego will only vault to my level momentarily...

I don't know...if I'm gonna be drinkin we may need to get one of those Fishin Buddy rod leashes some guys kid invented on here last year. Doesn't really matter, I'll backlash it sober. My rig hasn't changed much since the last time we fished together.

After looking over the past few pages I have seen a clear cut progression. Someone asks for help, and gets it from various people on the board. Enter pompous troll. Everything sorta spiraled after that. Interesting. I like the fact that cruzion has no respect for the choices and decisions of others. Who gives a [censored] if mhood likes Japanese made rod with slant bridge hyplon handles and orange reels? That is his choice and should be viewed as such. I personally like G.Loomis. That is what my tournament load is made up of. I feel that I perform better with G.Loomis. If you feel that you can fish better with a Berkley Cherrywood, so be it. It is like wine tasting. If you know nothing about wine, they will taste quite similar. If you know what to look for, each will be distinct.

You seemed to have missed the point, entirely. I was having a go at people who get off on bragging about how much their equipment costs. I don't understand how that point was lost in my posts, it's pretty clear. Here's a typical example of the mindset I'm talking about, from evolution44- "How much did you pay for your All-Star titanium, cruzion?" WTF does it matter? It's completely irrelevant! Why are you people so hung up on cost? People can buy whatever they want. I'm not anti-consumerist, and they can pay whatever they want! I'm not against people making money and spending it what the hell they want, they've earned it, so good luck to them! That's not a problem, and doesn't bother me in the slightest. The problem is when they feel the urge to have to brag about it. Honestly, the vast majority of people will think your a tool for doing that. Unless they're already playing the 'mines better than yours' game, in which case they'll think your awesome. If I have made one person think about bragging about how much their factory made product cost, then I have saved one person from being thought of as a tool.
