I would skip Pines and go to Lone Star.

Pretty cool to see the help here. It doesnt work like that everywhere. We added a Sunday so figured Caddo would have more spots and less crowded on the weekend???
It looks like Caddo Sunday and Monday leaving 4 days to split between Pines, Fork, Palestine, Sandlin, Or Athens.
I would hate to leave the area without fishing Fork.
I wouldn’t waste ur time on Caddo. Salvania isn’t a problem but fish are biting few and far between. U can go to Welsh instead and smoke them. 50 fish days are better then 5 on Caddo

IMO, I grew up on Caddo and it is beautiful but you will be hard pressed to show up blind and catch fish. Caddo is a lake of history and maps, graphs won't help. Pines is good but better know where to run unless staying down by the dam. Sandlin and Fork would be my picks. The maps will help you figure out where you need to be. I have a friend who comes every year and we use to lake hop. What happens is you never catch many anywhere. We now focus on one lake and will have a few great days each week when he is here. You don't catch them everyday but we do have 3 or 4 great days. If you want one day to see Caddo, great.

I would also recommend Sandlin. You could stay at Luck Lure (trailers) and fish many different lakes within a hour or so from there. Sandlin, Cypress Springs, Fork (if you really want to), Caddo, Lake of the Pines, Lone Star, Hawkins, Holbrook, Quitman, and Gilmer to name a few. There are others.
PM me if you have other questions. This^^^^^^^[/quote]
