They made their bed, now they can lay in it... What’s interesting, and funny alike is the corporate overlord run, greater fool recruiting networks aren’t reporting on the names of the hedge funds that took a massive loss yesterday. There was a brief mention and cry fest early, but since then it’s been silence. Word is, one very prominent name might have went belly up.

Hedge funds have been shorting stocks for years. The larger the short position the more that would jump on.
What if, they did away with short trading altogether?
Does it serve any useful purpose besides a few big brokerage firms dictating who they want to destroy?

Imagine having bought GME or AMC stock and right now as the price is tanking, you are unable to sell. the big boys are starting to F over those little guys. their driving the price down and you can't sell. setting those guys up for big losses.

Imagine having bought GME or AMC stock and right now as the price is tanking, you are unable to sell. I'm still up on AMC. Never got in GME They are letting people sell, just not buy. Selling only helps the hedge funds. Since I'm also killing it in other positions. Let it dip. I don't plan on selling until the 4th.

Weak hands. Oh yea, definitely only a theory. Now the big hedge funds can short it with even bigger gains. Like somebody said earlier, it sounds like shorting needs to be taken off the table.
