I’ve never seen a rod go to the bottom as fast as an ACC crappie stick! That said it had an ambassaderur baitcaster on it. That’s a heavy reel but still. I stopped a buddy from jumping in the lake cause I said it would come back k up but never did. Jenkos and ProAnglers I’ve lost in the lake both floated.

Yeah you must of had a big reel on there. I have a video where I accidentally dropped my 10 ft in with a 1000 series spin cast. Floated like it did not have a reel on it. Even threw it back in (on camera) holding the line of course in case I was wrong and it worked great. Not saying you are incorrect, just wondering if it was a shorter rod or maybe even an older one. Just commenting.

ACC does the same job for almost half the price. You can get two different lengths instead of one Bonehead. If you like a heavier feeling rod, then Bonehead. All that said, I use a Ugly Stick as much as my ACC's.

Just commenting. It was probably 3 years ago and it was a 10' rod. Still had the plastic wrap on the grips! I had just told him I would cut that off cause it would slip out of my hand first bite! He said he keeps em like that so the handle stays nice and next thing it was gone! First bite!
