20 white perch, 1 catfish. Figured since hunting season was over time to get back on the crappie. Found them right where they was this summer. Suspended 10 down in 17-18 foot of water. All caught on white/chart. They stayed in groups of 3-6,if caught 1 they all scattered and would have to keep moving around to find more.
Thanks for the post. I used to catch white perch in Ohio (they weren’t crappies and were invasive) and have never heard of a crappie called that, so thanks for the pic or the post would have meant something else to me.
Side scan is my main tool to find crappie and schools of bass, scanned an area last year and ended up catching close to 600 crappie out of that area, “ we eat a lot of fish, by time hunting season was over I was out of fish”
