Right there with you. We thankfully are down to only paying for 3 properties in 2 counties...Next year, it'll be down to 1 property. Honestly thinking about selling the house and buying an RV to live in...so tired of all these freaking taxes. Geez.

It's the craziest thing too! At 12k an acre for salt scald mesquite flats, with zero utilities. Hey but now we can buy fourwheelers so Jr. can make a track in the front yard. YEEEHAAAWWW hammer

I agree completely. We are out north of Kickapoo, not much production ever took place out here but its 24 minutes to Wichita. I have been contacted by three different developers interested in acquiring some of our F.M. frontage, I politely told them to pound sound.

San Angelo is $2.57 per $100 between county and school. Even with my tax break from the VA and homestead exemption I'm a little over $6k a year.

I was paying 10k a year here in Concho Co, they raised our values back when Ivie was 50ft low. We fought for years and finally got a group together and raised enough hell to get in person hearings. After an hour of arguing they fessed up and said they had my house as a luxury home and classified it wrong and dropped to 5200$. So for 7 years we were inappropriately overcharged from the county, we receive no utilities, trash sewer or road repair from the county. It’s a dump hole county led by crooks in Paint Rock Tx.

I would assume Southlake and Westlake and Highland Park would have big appraisals but taxatiopn rates might not be as bad as Colleyville or even Grapevine. Bedford was reasonable when we lived there.

I am not going to complain about mine now after seeing what some of y'all pay. We are at $1.71 per $100 between Harrison county, Hallsville ISD and our ESD.

Now that the lakes back up theres still nothing worth 10k a year out there that I've seen.

I believe that Southlake rates are high, grapevine wasnt bad at one point because of airport revenue but that may have changed

$10,000 in Argyle too. But you know we have to support the D1 athletic facilities that are so important.

Haha bond money pays for those facilities not your taxes. The bond money was voted on by the people of argyle. Apparently it was important enough to the majority to pass the bond for those facilities. By the way I can guarantee you that your home value is reaping the benefits of those facilities. Argyle is a desirable place to live.
