Chicken pot pie

We dined here tonight in Van Alstyne. Food was great, atmosphere good. Don't overlook this little gem when near Van Alstyne.

Shrimp boil
Grilled chicken
Boudin balls
Cooked for moms bday

Seth’s Lake Fork Creek, ribeye was excellent as usual.

Made gumbo again, This time I used sausage, chicken,shrimp and crappie.
Turned out excellent. The chicken was a good addition . I used fried chicken tenders ,chopped up in bite sized pieces.
Added with about 20 minutes of simmer left. Added shrimp and crappie with 5 minutes left on the clock.
At the end of the simmer, covered it and let it rest for an hour.

Made ribeyes for myself and the oldest daughter. Was so good I forgot to get a pic after I cut into it but it turned out medium rare plus.

My wife loves Joe T's

we almost had Joe T's for lunch, but we went to another tiny mexican hole in the wall that was real good.

For supper, we had Babes chx fried steak.

We had beef stew. Leftover from lunch.

I miss Joe Ts. Haven’t been in about 12 years. Goi g to have to make time to go one day when on a Fort Worth run.

Nice. What I get in Alabama I call Microwave Mexican.
