If I was going to buy a new boat tomorrow, I would go to Fun and Sun or the boats for sale here and buy the nicest one to two year old boat that fit my parameters and that I could pay cash for. I will be doing this next year at this time, until then my 92 Javelin 389T continues to get the job done! There's good deals on here, too, and BBC. Smart decision and don't forget to negotiate a little.

Ask him what he wants. He may be perfectly happy with what he has. If he has had that boat this long, he probably will not want another!
I would agree with you , but then we would both be WRONG !!!!!

My old ProCraft is getting ready to go away for a newer Phoenix. Heard great things about customer service

Never, ever buy a brand new boat unless you have money to burn and waste. There's a tremendous number of used, like new boats for sale that will still carry a warranty. That's the best advice that I can give. Brands of boats and motors are too subjective for me to comment on.... Have you seen how good bass boats are holding their value these days? I bought a Legend Alpha 199 like 7 or 8 years ago. Paid $43K. Had it for almost 6 years then sold its for $39K. Only thing I added was a 2nd power pole. Not sure exactly how they are going today but from what I've heard that is still happening.

In 2019, I bought a 2018 that listed for $75K new that had 16 hours on it. I paid $52.5K. There's always deals out there if you look hard enough. I do not disagree with the fact that nice, used boats are holding their value at an unbelievable rate. Best I've ever seen, especially since Covid.

wow...someone was either a sucker or just in a pinch and needed to sell that boat and fast. Great find for you. I've always tended to agree with your thought process on this but it's been crazy over the last several years and yes especially this year with VERY limited new boats available to purchase

Always wanted a Ranger but probably not anymore, post Johnny. Saw a new FXR this week and that thing was sexy. Bass Cats seem well made but let’s face it, they are ugly. If I had to chose, I’d probably go with an FXR.

Only way I am buying a new boat tomorrow is if I hit the powerball. So if I do I'm getting a FXR20.

It was listed at 75K , listed is the key word, sold for is the key phrase. Yes used boats are at an all time high for resale, not sure this trend will last much longer, sell high then buy low.
