friend gave me a turkey, minus one leg and a thigh. i guess the shot tore up the rest of the meat. anyway, i made a turkey leg soup. cooked the turkey pc's, strained the broth and deboned the cooked meat. added onion, carrots and peas to the broth, cooked for 30 min, added the turkey meat and cooked at simmer for 3 more hrs. nothing fancy, just good old fashioned soup. normally would cook noodles or rice and serve with the soup, but trying to lose a few lbs, so just soup tonight. i have no idea how many or how much spices i used, just started dumping em in there.
