How about a reality TV show about the striper guides on Lake Texoma. Would you guys watch this . I think it would be pure gold. Most have no idea of the drama that goes on behind the scenes

I've watched a few episodes of 60 Days In the last couple of days...I don't know if it's 'Reality TV' or not, but if it's even a halfway accurate portrayal of our prisons in America, HOLY ****! The inmates apparently run the things....drugs, phones, you name it and they have it. I do believe we need to go towards reform more than punishment (at least for about 60 to 70 percent of the inmates....those doing life for rape/murder/child molestation just let those animals have at each other)....but the dang prison guards on these shows just let the guys and gals run the pods they are in. Craziness.

Worked in them 20 years and done a little time in them. That show's pretty accurate.

Well, let's start paying 'em more. I don't know what they make...I have no clue, but we need more corrections officers...and if we're only paying them $25,000, then let's pay 'em more. Heck, I'd gladly pay them more than a lot of the other crud we waste money on that absolutely does not make society better. We need to try and reform/educate the prisoners so when they do get released they are productive members of society.

well I went to Ally's computer and it says the highest paid guards are at 50K in New York at the top end and 32K at the low end in North Carolina...……...

The only reality show I watch is Lone Star Law. Though it has me thinking I'm the only person in Texas who actually has a fishing license.

I like a few of them. The Last Alaskans was good, Building off grid sometimes, Life below zero but too much fabricated drama and that ol dyke gal gets old as does the ex-con that hooked up with Eskimo gal with the tattooed chin. Mountain Men is kinda kool sometimes.

Too much of any of them can get old though.

Advice? Wise men don't need it. Fools won't heed it.
