Make sure the jerkbait is balanced (suspends) Start with 6lb test and a spinning set up. Neutrally buoyant line—yozuri hybrid or Pline cx

I’m fishing it on a baitcaster with 10lb. Fluoro., make long casts to ensure your bait is getting in the zone. Every fish I caught had the front hook in its mouth and they were knocking slack in the line. I’m not a fan of the Megabass hooks, so I put Gamagatsu Aaron Marten MH finesse hooks on all of my jerkbaits. I haven’t lost a fish this winter, these hooks are amazing!
