I run a 2002 mercury 125,
Came with a 19 pitch alum. I replaced with a 17 stainless for more of a hole shot. But the 17 cranks out too many rpm’s.
My question is, will a 18 work? Or just stay with the 19?

How far over WOT RPM are you with the 17?

I had it rebuilt this year. My mechanic advised not to go over 5200.
I can hit that pretty easy and have to run about 3/4 throttle.

Probably should go back to the 19P.
