USPS is garbage. The absolute laziest people on this planet. Lazier than the DMV? I've always had pretty good luck at DMV. The VA and USPS might be tied up though.

Hell there’s been big delays since summer. That was on purpose. That was what Postmaster Dejoy was hired to do.
May you be treated the way you treat other people, today and everyday!

Hell there’s been big delays since summer. That was on purpose. That was what Postmaster Dejoy was hired to do. Fake all day long. Someone tried to make the USPS more efficient and the Union did what Unions do....cried and started the work slowdown. They're doing the same thing now and will be demanding money. Let the current USPS fold under their own Union obligations and start a new USPS with no union.

Our post office is great. What makes you think they could keep the union out.

Obviously everyone is entitled to their own opinions but just asking because I was wondering where you viewpoint was coming from on Unions.

Unions drive up the price of goods and protect lazy @ss workers. I worked with a bunch of them when I worked on locomotives.

I would find that difficult to believe. Would you care to share if you were a Union member or contract labor when you were working on locomotives? That might have some leverage on your opinion. Maybe they were treated better??? And by the way, I think that line of work would be interesting. Hard labor involved no doubt.

I see you skipped over the part about driving up the proce of goods. I worked along side of union guys. Here's a story. I was walking out to the service truck. A union guy had a handful of tools. He dropped a wrench. I picked it up and carried it for him. He then went and filed a report saying that he was robbed of 30 minutes because I carried the wrench. He got paid for it. Tell me that isn't worthless and unnecessary. Unions are garbage. They have outlived their usefulness.

It will die on its own. Ben Franklin proposed the post office. At the time it took weeks for information to cross the 13 colonies. Today information crosses the world in a moment and you can get stuff from across the world in a couple days. Heck, thats faster than it took for a letter to get from Philadelphia to the majority of the several colonies. Its long been time to change it. This from a person who worked at both post office and private sector for many years. Yes, it would be much better in private hands.

Huh, if you look at the labor statistics union labor is more efficient and has better safety records than non union shops.
