I cheated. Made a master from oven hardened clay and made a silicone negative mold. Just have to pour resin mixed with micro bubbles. Then add weight, hook hangers/screw eyes, line tie, and hinges. Then spray paint and coat.

This is what you walk into the next day when you were excited about a new pattern you painted. A dried up air brush..... I was about to do up some more but guess I’ll be doing a deep cleaning.

It's really hard to get the stripes right. Always seem too dark, too thin, too wide, too something. "All we can do is our best. Sometimes the best that we can do is to start over."

Just a few more, huh? Wish I could get that many bites in a day out on the lake. Great selection!

It's really hard to get the stripes right. Always seem too dark, too thin, too wide, too something. "All we can do is our best. Sometimes the best that we can do is to start over." I throw swimbaits 80% of the time because they're a moving bait that allows a fish little time to decide whether or not to bite. It's because it's a moving bait that detail isn't imperative to it's success, keep in mind you're not painting the bait for you. The best thought process I've ever heard is "I'm trying to fool a finned creature with a brain the size of walnut that needs to eat".

That'll get 'em. I like it.
