I can promise you there’s no one in my basement who has Covid.

If Trump visited your basement, some one would get it.

Has this been officially announced? I sure hope they don't go that way. If it happens, we can prolly expect the bars that made it through the first wave, lots may not be so lucky this go'round.

Yesterday for the region. Based on some 15 percent rule, regarding hospital capacity. Elective surgery also canceled applies to all retail as well.

Elective surgeries can still occur as long as the hospital involved has capacity to treat covid patients.

He is now on TV saying he doubts sports stadiums etc can have full capacity even after the vaccine is given to a large amount of folks. We gotta wait even longer. He thinks he is the commissioner for all pro sports leagues now.

He is a moron

And he has flip flopped on schools being open. Now he says its fine for schools to be open when just a few months ago all the kids were gonna die.

That's not the memo I got from the city I do business in but I cant speak to the details of the elective stuff as that's not my circus or my monkey. The bars will drop like flies if they havent switched their permits to food. Restaurants are on life support and much more will be the end to bunches of them. I'll continue to work for free for as long as needed.

The health department literally just called me 15 minutes ago to follow up on my positive COVID test from 11/7. Guess I officially get added to the recovered numbers now. They did state they are urging people to not test again shortly after they recover unless they feel like they have it again or were exposed via close contact per the reccomendations of the CDC. They do not want people retesting within a few weeks of recovery.

Lol you would be surprised, I actually limit alcohol service to people on walkers and there is a damn good reason for it.

You should ID just the opposite of how it's always been, and turn them away at the door. It's for their own good. But I need a waiver.

Correct, because you can still test positive up to 3 months after a positive, even if you're no longer infectious.

This is why we have the highest number of deaths in the world.
Doesn’t make much difference if you only serve millenials at bars and so called restaurants when the virus still spreads to the olds because the young are still living with mommy/daddy/grandma/grandpa.

The person that called me today from the health department also said not to assume you have immunity from COVID after you recover. They said they had someone in their office who has verifiably had it twice now within a few months of each case..

Oddly, my employer wants a negative test result to return work and.... a follow up negative. Each test takes 3 days to receive results.

Exactly. I like to drink as much as the next guy, but I sure wouldn't sit a bar to do it. That's a formula for problems in a variety of ways.

It's up to the individual to take care of themselves, not the government to shut business down
