Alright, I got to ask....what's the deal with no bananas?

not sure why bananas seem to be bad luck, but they are. first bassmaster's weekend series event this year on palestine my buddy grabbed a banana from the hotel. lets just say the banana's bad mojo followed him. i got a text message from him at 8 o'clock saying that his boater had destroyed his lower unit on a stump!!!

Banana peels + Boat = Broken neck!

If i'm fishing and haven't caught any fish in a while, I always realize, I don't have a lip full of snuff.

I even say, "I know why I'm not catching fish," and put a big dip in.

A few minutes later, BANG, that is a fish.

R.T., How many times did I do that on Falcon? GRIN!

Man, I thought I was the only one to experience the "light a smoke = get a bite" phenomenon. Just about anything that leaves you one handed will do it (open beer, boat-itch relief,) but the smoke seems most reliable.

Drinking a beer usually does it for us, when we're on a long multi day carp fishing session.

Or! We don't get a bite at all until we start talking about changing baits or tactics.

Just don't try fishing naked!

When keeping fish, take the regular sized cooler not the
gaint one.

Same as some others, never catch a fish on the first cast.
So I also waste the first cast of the day by throwing it maybe 10 feet and then getting it the heck back in the boat asap.
Tried that at Worth last year and son-of-a-gun if some sandy did not inhale it the moment it hit the water 10 feet from the boat,
and sure enough I struggled the rest of the day while my partner did okay.
Other than that I do not eat fish the night before a T, guess I don't want to offend the fish god or something...LOL!

No potted plants in the wheel house.
never open a can upside down.

no cats on the boat.
always step on the boat with your right foot.

I also have to have a dip of snuff in to catch fish.

maybe a little off topic here - everytime my partner and I hit a dry spell while fishing - we start remembering about past girlfriends. As soon as one of us gets to the interesting parts of the story - one of us catches a fish. Never fails.
