I'll take it.
I'm 75 with some health issues and if it will get me started on a road to normal again, then I'm in. I'm tired of living like this. Masks, can't go here, can't go there, don't go to church but go get in a huge group and protest something. Etc., Etc., Etc ... I certainly hope that's the case, but wait and see. I'd be willing to bet as soon as the general population start getting the vaccine they'll come out with some new thing. They'll start saying even those who were inoculated can still spread it. Or that because some people got the shot and some didn't, everyone still has to behave as if they didn't get it. A few people have a huge amount of control right now, and they will not want to give it up.

I'm betting 80 percent of the deaths since the beginning would be dead of other causes by now...... It's interesting that no additional deaths occurred this year compared to last year. You'd expect a 250,000 death increase. Nope. That's completely false. There are a couple hundred thousand extra dead people this year. The ONLY way to actually confirm how and or if the total death numbers were manipulated --- is to go back to 2018 and 2019 and do a comparison of how many people died from , respiratory illness , heart failure ,pneumonia ( non-Covid derived ) , dementia , natural causes etc.... I would suspect that if you compared 2018 and 2019 against 2020 " COVID " -- you would see a HUGE decline in those " other " deaths . My father in law died in 2004 from respiratory failure . Basically , he caught a nasty cold that settled into pneumonia and died from his lungs filling up . He had all the comorbidities , asthma , diabetes , overweight etc... I am 100% positive if he died this year --- it would have been listed a COVID

Ya'll need to research how vaccines are designed and made. This is a new vaccine, but it's not a new technology. The concept has been around for a long time and is very well understood by scientist and medical professionals. Just because you don't understand how they are made and how they work doesn't mean this is some sort of a moon shot.
I'm simplifying here, but most of these vaccines work by introducing a small amount of harmless spike proteins to the body. Your body then creates antibodies to attack and destroy them, which it remembers how to do for some period of time. Later when you encounter the actual virus, which is covered in those same spike proteins, your body attacks and eliminates them. The virus is still there, but without the spike proteins it cannot attach to and enter cells to replicate. So you never get infected.
My point is the whole approach was designed from the beginning to be safe. The technology is well understood. Not to mention the reason it's taken so long to get these vaccines is because they've done enormous and prolonged safety tests on tens of thousands of people to be safe.
Anyway, as soon as my doctor says it's safe, I'll be getting the vaccine. I don't care what you do. The recombinant spike protein is one of the vaccines going through phase three trials (Novavax) The other two major vaccines in phase three are mRNA vaccines (Moderna and Pfizer) how mRNA vaccines workDoc are you good with this being the first vaccine on humans using RNA? Serious question, especially since there’s no way anybody knows what the long term effects will be. Something about CDC’s well known history of injecting people who were unknowingly participating in experiments plus this being in the genetic arena makes it a big NO for me. Heard the military is making it mandatory.

Most of the deaths have been a bunch of olds. 80% of the COVID deaths have been over the age of 65. That said, the only thing meaningfully different from this year to last year is COVID. Zero doubt it's the driver behind all the excess deaths. I'm certainly not arguing for any further shut downs. I'm not trying to peddle fear. Just calling a spade a spade here. If you are old, COVID can be dangerous. If you are old you should probably take extra precautions. Everyone else should be smart but get on with life.

Bigfish, doctors are always concerned.
However, this may be a quite ingenious solution to the apparent short lived antibody response from exposure to actual Covid spike protein (thus my concerns with the recombinant spike protein particle vaccine solution)
However, the recombinant spike protein vaccine may provide a more robust initial immune response, so may be a better option for some and for some circumstances.
The mRNA should stay outside the cells’ nuclei, thus shouldn’t effect your DNA programming and gamete integrity and function.
Wouldn’t be surprised if it’s mandatory not just for the military professionals.
Might end up being mandatory for some education institutions and foreign travel to some countries also.

My dna/rdna/mna/whateverrna has already been messed with...back when the aliens restructured dna to produce humans.....:) Now if they would just come back so I could hitch a ride off this mudball to somewhere more interesting...:)
Signed up today at my PCP to get the shots when they make here to Okie land.....and with all the anti-vacers we've got here I should get it fairly soon once the priority groups get theirs. .
