I seem to have become a "Project Manager" lately. Lots of repair and upgrades to the hacienda since retirement. New patio enclosure, new driveway apron, bathroom wall upgrade, new fence with electric slide gate coming next week.
In between, fishing some, playing guitar, some dobro, some harmonica and RV trips to Bluegrass festivals. Plenty of stuff to do.

Don't do that. Everybody who started making knives has strangely disappeared from this forum.

I thought you were moving to Fork.

I would part time guide, Do crappie this time of year and bass in the spring/fall.

Chill out summer and the dead of winter.

I have, since retirement, redone a couple of old cars. I just finished the last one and I think it is time for something smaller and less labor intensive. Maybe get some ideas from this thread.

Musical instrument. I play acoustic guitar, it is very relaxing and good for the brain and I can play regardless of weather. Only expense after purchase is strings now and then.

Butch - post a list of Wood working tools you are getting rid of. I'm always looking to upgrade or add.

Visiting retirement homes. See which one I might want to end up in.

+1 on Butch's idea!

RC planes, RC cars, RC boats...it is an incredible hobby. You can get involved in local flying clubs, RC rock crawling clubs, oval dirt car racing (sprint cars, late model, etc.), off road, on road, drag racing - you name it, it exists at a very serious level in a smaller scale. You can run electric, gas, or nitromethane to power any of it...so pretty much wherever your interests might be.

To add to what I said above...I see that you're up in Allen. You should take an afternoon, take a ride, and hit up two places...just to look. Right there on the north side of 121, just west of 75, is the Traxxas corporate headquarters. They have a factory store attached (it is a HUGE facility that it is part of). Just look. Then ride down to Lonestar Hobbies on the NW corner of Beltline and Coit. Again...just look! Talk to the dudes that work at both those places.

I can just about promise that after that trip, you'll have been bitten by the bug!
