My dad had triple bypass when he was 79 and that was two years ago and you would never know it now. He was dreading the hell out of having it. Afterwards he said it was nowhere near what he was expecting. No pain, no discomfort, just had to use is heart shaped pillow to press against his chest when he got up, sneezed or coughed, or had to put any pressure on his chest. You'll do great

My dad had triple bypass and breezed through. We know you will, too, Dawg. They herd ‘em in there like cattle on that heart floor. You’ll be back in the pasture before you know it. The red heart pillow and spirometer will be your best friends for a while. You got this, bro. GL!

As to the nasal swab, when done correctly, it's pretty much just like touching your eardrum with a qtip, but on purpose and a few seconds later... not horrible, but not something I care to do, yet I still do it.
