Trolling Motor : took my trolling motor in to the shop at Boat World for some work as they have a motor guide tech. Seems like it is going to be $200 -$400 for the repair. It has a cracked head, switch is out, and making a loud whistle sounds. Seems like now was the time to take it in since the lake is flooded. Im thinking it is not going to be worth the money to fix but I really don't want to put a new toy on the her right now.......or do I???? eeks eeks eeks hammer hammer

Thanks for the compliment on the boat. I was about to ask ya'll to type slower. You're posting faster than I can read. I'm always a day or so behind.

Count me an' the wife (Cathy)in for the picnic. I think I saw something about terriyaki chicken. Couldn't miss that!

Looking forward to seeing everyone again.

We will have a new location posted later this afternoon. It will either be the Lookout Pavillion or the Marina Pavillion at Blora. Right now the Marina pavillion is secured but if Tommy thinks the other one is better after he checks them out we can swap. Glad to see you Spotchaser. I knew you would come for the chicken, lol.

Might as well.. You'll end up putting all that $$$$ into it and it will still be the same old one you had from the beginning. But the boat folks will be richer for it, lol..

Ok, we are going with Tommy's assessment that the Lookout Pavillion would be best so I have it reserved and paid for now. Details will be on the fish fry thread

The Advance Auto parts store in Copperas Cove is putting all its boat stuff on clearance and getting rid of it. John is gone to check it out and will let you know what all they have. I know the ski ropes are only $2.95, wash & wax stuff, fuel & water seperator, filters, etc.
