I see that Lindale has advanced to the quarter finals. Congrats Lindale. My Mineola Yellowjackets fell to a tough Mt. Vernon team 12 to 7 to end their season. Next season my nephew will be playing varsity on both sides of the ball. Defense as a linebacker and as a running back on offense.

Thanks! They won 36-7 and posted their first defensive shutout of the year. Only points allowed was a pick 6 late in the 2nd quarter. Defense absolutely dominated Chapel Hill. They never really threatened offensively and Chapel Hill was an offense that had scored over 130 points in their last 3 games combined and we shut them out. Pretty impressive performance from our defense.

Argyle finally beat Waco LaVega in the post season. Pretty sloppy game and LaVega couldn’t seem to get out of their own way but great win for Argyle. This is a very well coached team with a lot of talent.

Next Friday is Lindale V. Kilgore at SFA for the regional crown and a trip to the semis. Should be an AWESOME game. When they played in week 11 (last game of the regular season) Lindale narrowly defeated a very good Kilgore squad 47-40 in Kilgore. With 1 minute left Kilgore had the ball on the Lindale 30 and threw into the end zone for the win and Lindale intercepted. Shouldn't have mattered as our coach had a brain fart on the Lindale TD prior. We scored to go up 47-38 with about 2 minutes to go and he elected to kick the extra point and you guessed it - they blocked it and returned it for 2 points to close the gap 47-40. He would have been better off just taking a knee on the extra point. Lesson learned. Can't complain, it's been a historic season so far for Lindale and Coach C and his staff have done an awesome job. For a school that has never won a 2nd round payoff game to go at least 4 rounds deep, this has been awesome an awesome year. Next week will be incredible I'm sure.

And it was our feet got soaking wet,rain all the first half, Malakoff ahead 21 14 334 to play Grandview drives and scores 21 20 pat was good ,Malakoff was offside ,Grandview declines going with a tie,I thought they should have went for two,Malakoff gets the ball back and kicks game winning fg with 5 seconds left to play. Great game it was

I saw that last night on High Scoreboard show on Fox, that was a nice kick the kicker had to win the game.
My son has become friends with the RB #2 I think his last name is Smart(maybe), they talk/text every couple of day. Seems like a pretty good kid and a heck of an athlete.

They are still playing regular conference games in San Antonio. Judson beat Wagner last night 63 to 34 at Judson. Judson is 6A school and rated 23 in the state. They have a 6-1 record.

During the final seconds Malakoff out of time outs spiked the ball with seconds remaining, wild scramble running fg team on,the kick was good ,However flag,delay of game..sent Malakoff back 5 yards and kicker had to try again,Boom kick was good, so very good under pressure
