I know this isn’t 100%, but why is it that rural America tends to vote red and the major cities are blue? Has there ever been a study done on it, anyone ever heard any theories? No schools in the rural areas, therefore they are not educated enough to make an informed and intelligent decision when voting.

I guess you and the rest of the libs should start making decisions for us since us poor ole rural folks are not educated enough to make decisions on our own.

Saw this earlier and hard to argue with it.
I’m no fan of any politician. That’s the problem. Fan boys. If you’re unwilling to criticize the guy you voted for, then you really need to check yourself. These people work for us. They aren’t kings. I will criticize Biden the same as I did Trump. I won’t fly his flag on my truck or treat him like a messiah. I won’t be photoshopping his face onto Rambo’s body. He works for the people. And he’d better act like it. 🇺🇸 has spoken! Decency matters! That’s why I voted.

If you really think taxes won’t affect middle class you’ve made the mistake of believing a career politician. Only way to pay for bullchit he wants to do is raise everyone’s taxes. Wish people would use their brain for once and not vote with emotions. Stupid for sure. I applaud your post sir!!! I don’t care who you are, you cannot argue against one single point Team Skeeterless made. Anyone want to argue that: 1) Raising taxes (anywhere in our system, really) won’t affect the middle class? 2) It’s possible to add an incremental program without generating incremental money to pay for it? 3) Politicians are absolutely trustworthy...things they claim don’t need to be checked/verified...especially career politicians? 4) People (the unwashed masses) use their brains and not their emotions to vote? 5) Using your emotions and not your brains in exercising your right to vote is smart? There is a huge (and growing) number of people that don’t possess the ability to think critically. Very few people put pencil to paper and check to see if the math even works. For many, as long as it sounds like where the money is coming from won’t affect them, the math doesn’t matter. Too many don’t understand how our economy works and how business works.

I know this isn’t 100%, but why is it that rural America tends to vote red and the major cities are blue? Has there ever been a study done on it, anyone ever heard any theories? One theory is that rural people feel they have been left behind. Their towns are dying, jobs are evaporating, and their desired way of life is harder to achieve. As a result, when someone promises to make America great again, they see it as hope for a better future. It probably doesn't turn out the way they hope, but the promise is a lure nevertheless. This has been happening for decades with the movement of people to urban areas where educational levels are higher resulting in plentiful higher paying jobs coupled with more opportunity. Rural areas are often suffering economically. The whole thing is ironic and represents a conflict of philosophies. Rural people need change, but being conservative does not relate to the concept of change. Conversely, urban people are often satisfied with their status, but being liberal relates to the acceptance of change and risk taking.
