So no generation this week if I'm reading that right? You only see the schedule for the next day and they usually put that out around 5pm. For example today is Tuesday and only see Wednesday generation schedule. Thurs, fri sat Sunday were from last week . Look at the date Near the top

Additionally, the lake is 4 feet low right now, so I wouldn't expect any generation to occur until it rains again and the reservoir fills up.

That video is awful. It makes me super sad. Anyone know why the water level would drop so fast that so many get stranded?

Does this happen every year then? I guess I never knew they had this kind of kill off.

I see they are doing construction in the generator side of the dam, maybe they can release any flow where they are working at? Also as mentioned in previous post we haven’t had consistent rain in a long time

That really stinks! Sad to see all those dead fish.
On a side note, this would be a great opportunity for the states to get together and clean out all the lost lures, fishing line, trash, etc.

Also as mentioned in previous post we haven’t had consistent rain in a long time They are replacing some of the equipment in the dam. Not sure what the term for the equipment is but it is the generator things on the backside. As of Sunday three of the eight had been replaced. Word was that it was going to be three more weeks before they could release water again. Regardless of whether they are releasing water or not, you can still catch fish each and every day, you just have to put in the work to find them.

Anyone try fishing the dam recently? Am heading that way with the kids this weekend and wondering if I should plan to fish at the dam, downstream of the dam a little ways, or from the banks of the lake? Never fished Texoma or the dam before and not sure how the weather will impact fishing. Thanks in advance.
Edit: just to clarify I saw the posts about the dam not being run so water flow is not ideal. Just wondering best opportunities to catch some nice fish

Another location is at the boat ramp on the other side of the dam at the lake. Hike past the gate to the point and fish all side of the point for cats and striper.
