FYI,
Anyone looking to tank spray Prodiamine 65 Pre-emergent, Solutions Pest and Lawn has it for $75.93 for a 5lb bottle with free shipping after using discount code boxoff5. Seems like a pretty good price considering how long 5lb will last most residential users

That's a good price. I paid like $65 a few years ago and then it went up a ton. Good to see it coming back down.

For the most part my St Augustine is doing much better this year. It's always been strong in the back yard, but the front has been challenging.

Most of the front yard now looks like the green pics. One section hasn't looked as good and it's now looking really bad. ???

Looking great Crappy and Jrgo!

JRGO. Does that spot typically give you issues? If so, I'd be checking for debris like rocks, brick whatnot shallow under the surface. You can screwdriver test it. If not disease would be next and I don't really see anything that sticks out, green leaves next to the brown look pretty good. Next would be insects. Grubs maybe, but this time of year I'd be looking for chinch bugs. You can google a soapy water test for them.

Yes sir, we started to see a few here. But there's videos online showing yards with swarms of them.

Derek how long do I need to wait between treatments of Image? I killed about 1/2 my sedge with the first application about 6 weeks ago. Am I ready to spray again?

I use a service to treat for grubs and they do a army worm pre treatment in July. The company I use is saying they had already encountered army worms earlier than normal in some yards in Flower Mounds. They can wreck a yard pretty quick.

Hearing lots of reports of army worms. Going to be a bad year for them.

Took a pic today after mowing lawn looking pretty good especially for August and just watering 2 days per week. Last week I power washed the driveway and sidewalk for the first time ever it is actually white again. My yard is a mix of Palmetto St. Augustine, Bermuda, and Pallisade Zoysia that is coming from my neighbors yard. I donโ€™t really care as long as it is all green and blends in pretty well.
