And now disaster strikes. They called and said there was more damage than they thought so the TLP is officially closed until the 29th at least and our reservation has been cancelled. All other Corpe pavillions are booked so I have been working on getting one at Blora. They have 2 available. I have someone going out to check on which one would better suit our needs and will let you all know as soon as possible. It will either be the Lookout Pavillion or the Marina Pavillion.

Ok, we are going with Tommy's assessment of the 2 areas and have reserved and paid for the Look Out pavillion. There is plenty of shade for the cooks, playground for the kids, restrooms 50 yards away boat lauching available, boat dock, plenty of parking, water and electricity. We are good to go again. Entry is free for all military otherwise $8 per vehicle. The boss isn't in today but I will call again tomorrow and see if we can get it reduced to $5 if we have 70 people or more. The water park is open and included in admission also.

No glass bottes allowed

I just talked to Mrs. Mecatchem and she said they would be bringing another adult and a big iced down watermelon along with some extra Paper Plates, napkins, etc.


We'll bring a couple large coolers with ice for the drinks as it will probably get pretty hot in the afternoon.

Ok, I can bring more beer, bud light is my fav. Maybe the wifey can make some deserts. Anyone dig nana bread?

FYI, Cave and I are really looking forward to meeting you guys and gals, gonna make a weekend of it, trying to book a flight out of there around 4 on Sunday. If anyone is in for fishing on Sunday we would be. hint, hint, hint, :-)

Glad your coming to our get together. I'm sure most of the BB will be fishing Sun and you shouldn't have a problem getting a fishing trip. Looking forward to meeting you.

They told me today that civilians are $8 per vehicle. If that changes I will post it. All the military people need to split up and divide ourselves among the cars, lol. You only need one in the car.
