Thanks Gitter for the reply. The Rio bite has slowed down a lot. Still catching some but they are very few and far between. The Comal River is one place you can catch Rios during the winter time. The water up river by the springs is 72 degrees year around.

Trophies for sure. Good job guys. You have had a pretty good Rio year. What was you biggest Rio this year?  Thanks Curtis for the reply.  Biggest Rio I caught this year was on the West Prong Nueces River. It was over 11" and guessing the weight was a little over a pound and a half. Did not bother to take the length or weight.  Side Note: I have caught a lot this year in the 10 and 11 inch range. This has been a GREAT year for Rios.
