Yes get the new shingles shot and the new pneumonia shot. One or both of these is a two shot series. We both got them both. No ill effects.

I got the single dose and the two dose one about a year apart, still got them about 6-8 months later. Have been getting flu shot yearly for 18 years, and pneumonia when scheduled, got both 2 years in a row couple years ago.
