Dak played well yesterday. Made some great plays. Had great production ! More yards substantially that RW.

He struggles, IMO, when he is also playing the clock. Saw that yesterday at the end of the half with the int. that led to a SeaChicken TD and then the int. to end the game. I want to highlight that last drive of the game which started at 1:55 left. Dak was throwing 3-7 yard passes (which the Chickens were giving him easily) and burning valuable time. Not a productive strategy when your guy catches the ball and gets tackled in bounds.

I've seen Dak struggle with this many times. Having grown up with the Cowboys in the 60's and 70's I am setting the 70's Staubach as the measuring stick. Yeah, I know that was 40+ years ago and the game has changed but RW wasn't afraid to push the ball downfield in a crucial setting ... successfully !

Dak is good, not great. He'll get paid because there is no other option for the 'Boys. I'll pull for him but until he rises to the top and beats good teams and shows exemplary talent in crunch time I'll have no confidence in him.

Dak is good, but not great. That'll never change. If you can't get it done on the critical play, its just gonna be another normal, average season. Occasionally, they will make the playoffs and maybe, just maybe....make the 2nd round. But that's a stretch. Normally, good guys fall off before then. Just think how good this team would be with Lil' Kyler. It wouldn't surprise me if they make it to the Sooopa. Don't get me wrong...I'm Dallas all the way and I love all football, but I've grown up with the Cowboys and my loyalty will never waiver. It all starts and ends with the QB, though, to be an elite NFL team.

Dak is better than Romo; and I’d much rather play for Dak than wish washy Tones Romes.
