According to this iboats link: http://boatspecs.iboats.com/Bass_Boat/bp/80c11 there were/are well over 200 bass boat manufacturers. From the looks of it some made bass boats only one year while others are still in the business. Interesting thread, never really thought of the number of bass boat companies who were the best of the best at the time but have come and gone.

[censored] I owned a hydra-sport and forgot them, I don’t remember Outlaw? I believe they were built in Oklahoma. My best friend's dad had one in 1979 or so

We had a tiny 14 ft Ouachita with a Johnson 25 back in ‘74. Loved it. The big wigs in our bass club had a boat I think was called a PowerCat and it had a jumping Tiger I think in its logo. Also, they had a 4 stroke motor that had 55 hp and had a huge head. I can’t remember the name but I was hoping if anyone remembers. Up in Lawton Ok

Shadow, Hydrostream, Mooneycraft, Baja all made a bassboat along with their other high performance boats. I fished with a friend in the Irving Bass club that had a Parker. Reminded me of a PowerCat.

Back in the mid to late 70's my best friend took me fishing in his dad's Rebel Bass Boat with 115 Merc. That was big time bassing for me and got me hooked. So my brother and I bought a used 1967 Super Skeeter to get us started.
