There was an attendant there this weekend helping people with the kiosk. I pulled up and she asked if it was my first time to use it, I told her no and scanned my way in. She was with lewisville, had an ID badge, etc... I asked about the rumor floating and she said she did not know of or hear that as she was too low on the pole. She did say to call and ask, complain if they are not going to keep it, etc... and that is the only way to make any change. We tax payers in lewisville just build the new park, walkways, etc... We should not see this passed off or handed to some other entity.

I just spoke to the parks department again. The rumor is true at this time... however I guess there have been complaints and as such there is an agenda item for the city counsel to vote on tonight to include Tower Bay on the 2021 pass. Lewisville will still own the park and area, but I guess the management will fall to someone else.

I dont like this at all, giving up our public parkto a private company. We've lost so many places to the private sector on Lewisville Lake already.
