If anyone has a computer cable that connects 2 USB ports please drop it off at The Minnow Bucket so Ken can edit the photos from the hard drive on the video system. Ken has not been able to find one in that area.

There is a company called Xena (zenna) that has wireless zone alarms with infrared sensors and trembler alarms, all sorts of stuff. Supposed to be good stuff and relatively inexpensive.

www.xenasecurity.com No I ain't makin any money on this. Heard about it from a buddy in Dallas. Seems easy enough to set up and use. It'll at least let you know your sh*& is gettin' gone through.

I have stayed at Choke Canyon Lodge and they have a gated entrance. You have to have the "code" to get in after 10 pm. I gotta think this would be ALOT cheaper than a security guard and would serve the same purpose. I know I left my stuff in the boat and slept like a baby

Shootin' someone for stealing a fishin' pole or two will most assuredly cost a whole lot more than the replacement cost of the very best fishin' poles and accessories.

Take your equipment into the RV and/or motel at days' end and don't forget your electronics. Hide your truck's GPS while you're at it.

Don't get me wrong, some people deserve to be shot and then shot some more. I'm just sayin'...

It has been said that even thieves don't like other thieves; however, if you shoot a couple of 'em, you may have one or two for roomates...for quite awhile.

You just never know...

Steve Taylor checked with the folks at The Minnow Bucket on New Years Eve and they told him the cable they needed was ordered and was due to arrive Wednesday. This is taking entirely to long. Will update as soon as I get the pics.

Sorry it's taking so long, but it takes a while for the perimeter trip wire and the Bouncing Bettys to ship.

So, here it is September 14, 2020......did the Minnow Bucket get the pics of the criminals uploaded and distributed ? Did the thieves get caught ? How did this story end ?

Stumps and Lightning. With a bit of planning and good judgment both can be avoided.
