I rolled from the house a little after daylight and put in at the old Rainswood ramp with my jon boat and fished the north end of the old 2946 road bed. The fish seemed to be hanging out in the 20 foot range or slightly less suspended half way down and to the bottom, Water temp was 80 degrees. I chunked crankbaits most of the morning that would have run just above or down through the middle of these fish and never got the first bite. I finally switched over to a C Rig with a chartreuse Zoom centipede and landed this little guy on the first cast. I fed what ever was down there about a half a dozen more of these centepedes; the were ripping them to shreds, and never boated another fish. I finally gave it up around 10:44 and headed in. Any of you having the same results?

I was catching some few weeks back pitching a drop shot up against wood in 12-20 fow where I could find contours like a road bed. They were right up against the tree and hit it on the fall or soon after.
