front coming thru fri afternoon with rain, sat/sun look to be pretty tough on arbuckle. fished it for years, post front on that lake can have a huge case of the suckola.
Thanks. Not arguing with you but it looks like another front comes in Sunday at noon. Would that change your forecast at all? Davis, TX NOAA LinkI guess one saving grace is if Arbuckle is dead, I could hit Murray or Texoma on my way home.

yeah, fronts changed a little.
one coming thru now (0400)
if you go, I would start up the river a little and frog/spook both banks, deeper water at the curve has some timber on the outside of the bend, chatterbait and spinner or dropshot maybe.
I used guy sandy ramp, straight across, the coves at the point campground have done me good a lot in the past, spinners/chatterbaits and trig 7 and 10" worms.
you might scare one or two up but I bet it will be tough.

when you go up the river arm (east side) watch the right bank and do mind the bouys, there can be some super shallow bars on the right.
left bank has trees and some bottom structure, graph it and if you see anything hit it.
far east end may have some in the creek if it is running a little, worth a shot.

I was there about a week ago and caught tons of fish up creeks on square bill, jerkbait, and 300 series(no bigs though). It is see a good jerkait, A Rig lake in the winter. Lots of big fish but tons of pressure for such a small lake. It will humble you in a hurry. I grew up on that lake and when the big bags started getting reported, it has been downhill as a good numbers lake consistently. Similar to Fork in the sense that any cast could be fish of a lifetime though.
