Yeah, we need more 17 yo kids with long guns out supporting the police. Active duty military is a lot different than that kid. Perhaps you're too ignorant to understand that? Let me guess, you never served right? I'm betting "donothin" isn't just a user name but a way of life for you. Sorry, you are wrong about me. And yes, i know that active duty military is a lot different than a kid and never implied otherwise. Actually you did. When someone mentions sending troops you equated the troops with that kid. Your idiotic implication is plainly visible.
But, I also sending armed servicemen in against citizens is a very dangerous thing to do and smacks of Marxism, Nazism or some other kind of authoritarian kind of government. No it isn't. The Constitution has a provision for it if the gov of a state officially requests help. And in this case, nobody has sent out armed servicemen not have they officially suggested it. The OP is asking a question. Show me where trump has said he is sending active duty troops in. Only he can authorize that and he has not said he is going to do it. Govs can mobilize the Natl Guard within their own states and those are not considered active duty troops. You have absolutely no business teaching young kids. Why? Because I will teach them what the Constitution says and means? Because I teach them to think for themselves? Because I teach them that they can make up their own minds? I am exactly what they need teaching kids because I offer a different viewpoint than the LIB agenda.I'm going to bet you don't even have any kids. You may have been in the military, but you are clueless to the parameters that are in place. Actually because I was in the military I fully understand the parameters in place. If you bother looking at the post I made on this thread about the parameters, I pretty well covered them. Since you don't seem to be intelligent enough to actually see what I wrote, I'll help you. This is on the first page of comments and is 2nd to the bottom:Because it is illegal to do so unless the gov of the state in question specifically allows the federal govt to disperse active duty troops in their state. Remember the Natl Guard does not work for the feds, they work for the govs. This goes way back to the founding of the nation where the states had their own miltia and they wanted to protect states rights and not give the fed govt a blank check to rule over them. So tell me Genius, where am I wrong? You're really not very bright are you? I'll take you rant above as an admission that you never served and have never done anything. Why don't you do us all a favor and go play in traffic?

Why not call in the Marines? Because it is illegal to do so unless the gov of the state in question specifically allows the federal govt to disperse active duty troops in their state. Remember the Natl Guard does not work for the feds, they work for the govs. This goes way back to the founding of the nation where the states had their own miltia and they wanted to protect states rights and not give the fed govt a blank check to rule over them. This is the same reason that the USN and the USMC were not allowed to go ashore in New Orleans during Hurricane Katrina. There was a battle group less than 100 miles south of LA standing by to assist (I was on one of the ships) but Gov Blanco of LA refused to give permission for the troops to land. I assure you that debacle at the Super Dome would have happened if she had allowed us ashore. I was at the debacle at the Superdome as part of the OK Guard QRF. This was like a day or two after the hurricane so very much unknown. Lived in the parking garage there for a few weeks. Most of what was reported inside were just rumors. Thankfully we did not have orders to shoot looters. Did not want that on my concious. After a couple days it calmed down and we were just there helping neighbors. Don't understand the thought of stacking bodies. Both sides have forgotten how to be decent to each other. Side note about looters, one place we stayed at was on the river where there was a police command station. All of the cops were driving around in luxury SUVs and trucks with no tags...

Police ? Guard ? Citizens with opposing viewpoints ?

Posse Comitatus doesn't apply to the Marines unless the law has been changed in the past few years.

I'm sure it's already been stated, democratic mayors and governors would rather see their cities burn than ask for help.
If this nonsense keeps happening and we have a different President (unlikely) those demos will ask for help quickly!
...------ They don't want help, they want money. They think if they let half the city burn that they will get money thrown at them.

Replies with opinions that differ from a few others during an online discussion = unstable Got it Side note, pretty sure you don't deploy Marxist tactics on Marxist members to defeat a Marxism.
