I got my ned rig rod out this morning while on the lake, and I usually leave them rigged when finished for the day. Today, I discovered the hook on the jig had rusted from the bait all the way to the hook point. Not just rust, but fall apart rust. I broke the hook with my fingers. Just a heads up, those jigs are too expensive to waste them.

If you are using the ZMAN heads, they break easy anyway.

Yes on the ZMan heads. I was really surprised at the rust. I haven't seen a rusty hook in ages.
