Yoooo. I went to Walmart to pick up some circle hooks to take the kids catfishing this weekend and walked past the clearance aisle and they had almost evrything from the fishing department there and it was all 75-90% off!! Needless to say i made out like a bandit. In the pic is $20 of stuff but easily id have paid $150ish+ for it all over time. Jigs 1$, spinner baits 1$, swivels $.25 and almost all plastics were $.10!

same at the walmart in crowley.. Found some crankbaits for a $1.00....and some topwater for 10 cents... NOw did I really need to buy more NO but I gave some to my son..

They only had their lures for 10% off here at the one in Midlothian. Most of it was stuff I wouldn't buy anyways. Looks like yours has better stuff to choose from than mine.

I remember when they had rods on sale like this lol was buying KVD cranking rods for $5

WTF?! fishing supplies are running scarce, the cupboard at Academy has been bare for months

Yeah i was definitely surprised bc fishing stuff is so low at almost anywhere near here. I couldnt even fit everything they had marked down in that pick but it was definitely worth going I only wish id had more money to blow then lol but still happy with what I did get as it was all my most used stuff.

Wal mart in Crowley don’t have hardly anything left.

Not my walmart. They had a few packs of mirrolure soft plastics for saltwater on clearance. $3.97 a bag marked down from like $4. What a joke

Shipments are running slow due to the virus. Most of their tackle comes from China.


Side Note: My local Walmart and Academy are having the same problems on their shipments. A lot of empty racks in the tackle section.

Walmart is strange. I have three within easy driving distance of my house.

In one last week. The had SK Hack Attack Heavy Cover Swim Jigs for $1.10. Bought a dozen. That's all they had. Drove to the next one, they were $3.97, still a good price, but not what I was hunting. Went to number 3 the next day, they were $4.97.

Go figure.

Crowley is pretty much all gone. The only thing left is all catfish stuff that isn't on sale.

Walmart, just like every other store, gets their fishing stuff from our buddies overseas. Everyone is out of it.

Ours didn't have anything on clearance.
