His mother was a bad influence (just like that Tour de France winner’s mom)
In many versions of the tale, the mother does instruct an underage child without any business experience to sell the cow
In some versions of the story, it’s the mother that chops down the beanstalk as the Giant climbs down, killing the Giant

He was a lazy socialist. Instead of getting a good education and working hard, he killed someone for a goose that lays golden eggs, so he could kick back and relax while the goose did all the work.

Jack isn't the only fairy tale "hero" that justifies stealing and killing for the betterment of their family or for personal gain.

Point of the story is.......

Due to Covid 19 and the cancelling of elective procedures, you have a lot of time on your hands? wink

I'm thinking so. The giant, like certain political candidates, apparently went around sniffing children. The giant got what he deserved.
