Try the 5.11 Stryke flex-tac pants. Just got some for work and they are really comfortable. Pockets placed in functional locations too.

Did y'all miss the part where I said I didn't want to look like GI Joe?
5.11 brand is the quintessential "I'm not in the Marines, but I want to make sure you know I have lots of guns and throwing knives, and at least one replica samurai sword" clothing brand.
