Costa Fantail 580g Green mirror for the last 6 or 7 years for daily driving and fishing. I have a big head, they fit nice, glass lenses are a little heavier but they don't scratch easy. Big plus for me, I am hard on glasses. I got a crack in a frame in there somewhere and sent them in, they replaced them quickly with no problems. If I remember right it cost me a few bucks but not even close to what a new pair cost. Anyway, you get what you pay for and Costa is good.
See you on the lake and have a great day!

IMHO, Costas are the best but I also own Amphibia and love them. Several of the folks on this site recommended a site that offers huge discounts on Costas. I bought mine, with plastic lenses for $70.00 and love them. Maybe they can chime in with the name of the site.

If you can get 1 pair only, Costas 580G green mirror. If you have the budget, Maui Jim's rose or copper mirror for driving and specific fishing conditions (lower light/mud bottom)-pic a frame style you like-and you can find these on sale on different websites. Get the green mirror costas in 580 for all otherfishing (assumes freshwater) IF you do a lot of sight casting in rivers or shallow flats on the Texas coast, Green 580G Costas are good when the sun gets up. You will want to look at either the Sunrise by Costas, Smith's, or Mau Jim's with rose if you fish early/late and low light sight casting. For mud bottom's a rose or copper mirrored really helps you see the fish better-especially on the Texas coast. I've tried several and this is what I've found.

Has anyone found where to get perscription shades that actually can see with? I wear progressive bifocals and have tried costas ,which I love the fathoms but perscription not good. Then tried Wiley X and sent them back twice and still couldnt use. I have been using the overs such as Cacoons but they sure get heavy over my glasses after all day. I have been told it is hard to do bifocals with a curved lens but just hopeing someone can do.

I have some WileyX prescription glasses that are unwearable. I have some Piranhas that are great for driving. I have another pair of WileyX that are for fishing and they are delaminating “due to exposure to the sun”! I vote stay away from WileyX. Costa Is next to try. Send those WileyX back to them. This!! bet they will take care of you

My favorite allnround lense was Costas Copper Mirror.
Cant seem to find them in a frame that fits me.well.after i lost my last pair on P.K.
Ordered the Sunrise Silver Mirror, and there is no mirror and horrible when the sun is up, shipped them back today.
I loved the copper lenses during peak sun and dawn/dusk.
How are the green lenses at dawn dusk?

Probably whatever you decided to spend your money on but I have Maui Jim. I've got 2 pair of 580's at the bottom of Lake Georgetown.
